Omar Trinidad will take on Lorenzo Parra in a 10-round featherweight main event on August 15 at Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez, California, 360 Promotions has announced.
Trinidad, 19-0-1 (13 KOs), of Boyle Heights, California, is a featherweight contender who could be on the precipice of a title opportunity. After starting his career 0-1-1, he has won 19 straight – including two wide unanimous decisions in 2025, over Mike Plania in January and Alexander Espinoza in May. Trinidad is currently ranked in the top 10 in the featherweight division by all four major sanctioning bodies.
“Omar Trinidad has consistently proven to be one of the top featherweights in the sport,” said 360 Promotions’ Tom Loeffler, “and facing Lorenzo Parra presents another tough challenge as he moves towards an earned world title fight.”
Trinidad represents a significant step up for Parra, 23-1 (17 KOs), of Machiques, Venezuela – and will be the latter’s first fight in two years. Parra most recently edged the then-12-1 Javon Woodard Jnr in a split decision win (which required an overtime round to decide in OTX’s format) in Atlanta in August 2023. His previous eight opponents, however, had a combined record of 5-64-2. The Trinidad fight will be only Parra’s second fight in the United States.
Trinidad-Parra will headline a “Hollywood Fight Nights” event from 360 Promotions, and will be broadcast streaming on UFC Fight Pass. The promoter noted that more fights on the card would be announced soon.
